INSPIRATIONS
These are my inspirations for my first unit: Beauty and Decay. I want to create a similar image on sunken ships.
Steps to Creating My Final piece
Step 1: Cardboard Boats
First step is to make a simple outline of how a boat looks like. To make the boat I used cardboard's and a glue gun to stick it all together.This is all done without scissors to give the effect of an old sunken boat.
Step 2: The side view of the boat
This is the side view and it shows that the boat is made with uneven shapes of card to give the effect of an shipwrecked. It done messily to make it seem more real. Not only we used the flat side of the cardboard we also used the rippled side of the cardboard to make it more effective when we Photoshop it.
Step 3:Photoshop
After creating my boat I will then use Photoshop to help me achieve my ship.Photoshop is very new to me and I still am learning how to do things. I wanted to do it on here because I know that if I don't there will may be struggles with making my final piece. On Photoshop I can learn so many new things which will help me create my final piece.
Step 4: Sail included
In this picture it shows that the sails I made were not strong enough so I had to remake it to fit it in Photoshop.I had to get BBQ sticks and tape 2 sticks together. 1 pair was needed to be short and the other 2 needed to be very long
Step 5: On Photoshop
The sails have been cropped and added in Photoshop so in this process it is still being cropped.I retook the pictures of the boat in the same angle and transported it onto Photoshop. I had to the erase the surrounding of the picture to ensure it only shows what I wanted to show.
Step 6: Final touches
Before putting in my last touches I made a few changes. At the bottom I have added in some debris directly underneath the boat, but it hard to see because it has been blended in. I also made the last picture seem as if it was transparent.
